May The Light Shine Upon You

 After my first pass at the Dragonlord failing, and after grinding out a couple more levels, my quest to complete Dragon Warrior has come to an end!

I was hoping to be able to beat the game on Dragon Quest Day but time just wasn't on my side, the same week is close enough I suppose.

Now to figure out what to play next! I do have a save of Final Fantasy I on PSP that needs completing...

Dragon Warrior (NES - Original Hardware): Complete!!

Close, but no cigar!

 First attempt at finishing Dragon Warrior had ended in failure.  Level 20, might grind out one more level to make sure the next attempt is the last one (hopefully!)

Meanwhile, I have beaten two other games on PC, I finally finished Titan Souls which  started quite a while ago. I also beat a relatively new game called Berry Bury Berry.  Pretty fun, got all the endings.  Definitely worth the cost of admission.

 More for my own reference than anything but feel free to check in every now and again if you want.

Anyway! Just completed the base game of Grim Dawn, a pretty good Diablo-like.  Will maybe come back to it if the DLCs get discounted.

Now I need to focus on beating Dragon Warrior.

After a long hiatus...

Golden Axe...is a horrible game. I've never sold an RPG before. Ever.

I traded in Golden Axe. It is that bad. Not only is it BAD, but it nearly RUINED MY XBOX!!

Some good news though, I finally beat Suikoden IV, which I started in place of Golden Axe!! Not only did I finish the game but I also was able to collect all 108 Stars of Destiny!! That's a lot of characters...

Now I'm playing Legaia 2. Loved the first Legaia, let's see if the sequel holds up.

Quick update

Man, I've really let this blog go to the dogs. Sorry for the lack of updating, but with everything going on, I've had little desire to write on this in the last while.

BUT, I do have some big accmoplishments, I've beaten like 5 games since I last wrote anything here, including Lost Planet, Ninety Nine Nights, F.E.A.R., F.E.A.R. Files, F.E.A.R. 2, and Blue Dragon!! So go me, I'm doing really well with cleaning out my unbeaten/unplayed games.

Currently I'm working on Golden Axe: Beast Rider. Horrible game, I'll be glad to trade it in when it's beat.

Sweet, I started playing Lost Planet again after finishing FF13 and I've just conquered it as well!! Chalk another one up for the good guy!!
